Introduction
Borneo has an abundance of wilderness and no part of Borneo is more rugged than the northern Malaysian state of Sabah.
The towering Mount Kinabalu with its granite spires dominates the skyline, peaking at over 4000 metres, its foothills and the Crocker range of mountains to the south lay blanketed in luxurious jungle.
Villages and farms are connected by dirt roads and jungle trails, mostly hilly, rarely sealed and perfect for mountain biking.
"we curve down a mountain side towards the valley floor and some of the most delicious singletrack possible." (Andrew Harris in Australian Mountain Bike magazine).
